About the song
Originaly there was no story behind the song, just a feeling that needed to be written down but not because of a personal experience. Maybe some of it's meaning means more to me now. But I guess we all have someone we miss... deep down even if we won't admit it.
Lyrics
I Miss You
4am, on my way home
This taxi’s feels so cold, I’m alone
Think I’ve drunk a little too much wine
Cause I can feel you’re arms around me
It’s like everything’s just fine
Then I I I miss you
I hope you find your perfect life
I hope she’s pretty and funny and makes a perfect wife
You don’t have to tell me, I know, I can see
There’s no way in this world that could ever be me
But I I I miss you
Today is a new day, a new start
I heal my heart you broke apart
I made a promise to myself to give up my fight
I surrender, but it doesn’t make it right
Cause I I I miss you
I I I miss you
