About the song
Let’s Roll America
This song was inspired by the final words of Mr. Todd Beamer who was on the flight that crashed into an empty farm field in Pennsylvania when he and some other passengers decide to overpower the six terrorists that had hijacked their plane. Mr. Beamer had made contact through his cell phone with a 911 dispatcher and was telling her what had happened on the flight and that he and some other passengers had decided to try to take the plane back from the terrorists. The dispatcher said the last words she heard Mr. Beamer say was, “OK, lets roll!”

After analyzing the information from the two data recorders recovered from that flight, officials determined that what ever conflict occurred between Mr. Beamer, the other passengers and the terrorists, they prevented the terrorists from slamming that plane in to a building, perhaps the White House or the Capitol itself. Therefore, Mr. Beamer and the other very brave passengers no doubt saved hundreds of other innocent lives.

Verse:
They made the rush together as if one single soul,
One mighty charge toward evil, to save all of those below.

What happened in that conflict we will doubtful ever know,
But we won't forget those final words, OK, Let's Roll.

Chorus:
Let's Roll America
It is our country's call

Let's Roll America
For those who gave their all.

Let's Roll America
This is where freedom stands

Let's Roll America
We won't give up our land

Verse:
As the flames and smoke shot skyward they knew where they had to go,
The innocents were in there and it was their job to save them so,

They faced their storm, they saw their path and with faces bended low
Together with a mighty yell they all said, Ok, Let's Roll.

As the buildings crashed, the heroes fell, into a gaping hole.
Together with the innocents the death knells begin to toll

As the world stood still, life seem to stop with this tragic blow
But the hard hats saw the job ahead and together they said, Let's Roll.

Chorus:
Let's Roll America
It is our country's call

Let's Roll America
For those who gave their all.

Let's Roll America
It time to take a stand

Let's Roll America
We'll show them that we can

Verse:
They did their part by standing tall, now it's up to us to show,
That those who went before us had the true American soul.

Let's dry our tears, let's set our course, we know which way to go,
We've pulled ourselves together, now it's our turn to say, Let's Roll.

Chorus:
Let's Roll America
It is our country's call

Let's Roll America
For those who gave their all.

Let's Roll America
This is our father's land

Let's Roll America
The future's in your hands

Chorus:
Let's Roll America
It is our country's call

Let's Roll America
For those who gave their all.

Let's Roll America
We'll make freedom's stand

Let's Roll America
Together hand in hand
