About the song
Narrative:
"Life is instinctively inadequate, what you have is rarely what you want. Those born to a life of toil and hardship may dream of having been born to a life of luxury and riches. There is no harm in this, for we are taught to aspire to the heights of nobility, to crave the frivolity of the higher classes.
Rarely, though, is the scenario reversed - for what is the point in wishing for less than you have, unless, maybe, what you have is gained at the expense of those who have nothing. And to realise this and act upon it requires a higher degree of conscience than one can readily admit to. Gaining this conscience means losing everything: a name, a birthright sacrificed on the altar of equality.
This man choose to turn his back on one life and in facing the light, travels into another...."
