This was my first ever song that I wrote in 2002. Back then, our church was in revival but still, my song didn’t have a resemblance to what a revival had – namely being songs with fire, spirit, wholeness and joy. Strangely, the song came to my head one day when I woke up just before going to school while I was taking a bath. For me, the tune comes into the head along with the lyrics and the first four words that jumped right out was “I Live For You”. It stuck with me throughout the day as a song that could be sung absolutely anywhere, no matter the situation or the environment. Remembering this, I finished the song at the end of the day with the afterthought that no matter where I go, what I do, it will always be something worth living for in Him.
