so she wants to leave and move to new orleans
bought a gray hound ticket
the moment after she fell out with her parents
left her best friend crying
thought she'd make a better living workin bourbon street

dissolved her innocence faster than a blink
she would always say she loved him
even despite the tantrum of her friends in stride
