About the song
Tim Sparks extraordinary version of 'Mississippi Blues' has amazed and astounded listeners for a few years now. It's an uptempo version that some critics have said is just too fast. But it has to be said that most people love the speed and the verve with which Tim plays this Country Blues classic. However, to satisfy the critics Tim recorded a slower version that should keep the nay sayers happy. Both versions are available on his new CD, 'Sidewalk Blues'. If you like Acoustic Blues, Ragtime and simply jaw-droppingly great acoustic guitar playing you should get hold of this CD.
