I wrote Desperately Seeking You when I was really down one night. I went for a long drive to clear my head, which happens to be the opening line of the song and just have some one on one time with God. I was questioning a lot of things in my life at the time including my faith and I just needed God to pour some answers into my heart that I had been searching for and that's how this song came to be.
