Sometimes it’s not what you bring to the table,
That makes people love you, and the values you hold .
Sometimes it’s just that you do what you’re able
Never asking for silver or gold.

You take what God gives you and offer it freely ,
To the ones who are suffering, to all souls who are in need.
To give with compassion the power of God’s healing
That’s truly a servant indeed.

But how many of us can say we are worthy of being a friend when no one else cares ,
Sharing the burdens of those heavy laden , and scared , oh so scared .

That the day that God calls them they may not be ready,
Not knowing the Saviour who died on the wood.
Will you be the one to show the road to salvation,
Pointing the way like you should.
Cause Jesus did what he did, Cause he could.
