For the past seven years on Christmas Day, A Little Uneasy have played at St Andrew's Hall in Norwich for the 'homeless and lonely' at Norwich Open Christmas, where 400 guests dine, play bingo, get entertainment all day, and a gift, for free. Now, however, at the behest of a rich couple living nearby, the imposition of a sound limiter so draconian that mere audience noise triggers it has made any sort of amplification impossible to use.

The killjoys who've brought this about usually go something like this:

For goodness' sake turn the music down,
I lie awake - turn the music down.
What does it take? turn the music down!
I can't hear myself think.

Would you be so kind? turn the music down,
If you wouldn't mind - turn the music down,
Or I think you'll find (turn the music down)
That I'll raise a big stink!

(except they are probably not so polite as this, and more exultant now they have killed the music altogether)
