About the song
When I originally wrote this tune, poppin', lockin' and breakin' were hot, so I thought I'd try to write and record a dance number that the b-boys would like. After listening to my mid-'80s recording of "Genie Dance", I decided to digitally remake it. I hope the b-boys, and all those who love dance music, still like it!
