The Plague is about a man in a futuristic utopian society. Everybody is under control of the government, except him. He is the only one who can see the world for what it really is. He tries convincing people, but it is useless. He is placed in an institution for being dillusional. Now he has lost his hope and has realised that "this path is too hard." He spends the rest of his days slipping into insanity, locked in a padded room.
