About the song
The music for Mascot was written by Brian McGuire some ten years ago. The lyrics were penned by J.D. in response to the state of Arizona changing the name of Squaw Peak in Phoenix ONLY after the death of Lori Piestewa, the first American Indian woman ever killed in combat while serving in the U.S. armed forces.
