About the song
I'm just thinking of as many silly things as possible here. This is just to provide a bit of contrast on my album, next to all the rock stuff.
Lyrics
He was sitting on the fence blowing smoke from his ears
People asked him the time he just nodded in time with the song
He went into the men's room, couldn't find the soap
And he couldn't find the sink, and he couldn't find the trough
So he left
Well he didn't like his life
So he opened up a hole in his mind
He climbed inside, said goodbye to his dog
And he disappeared from the face of the world
Standing in the doorway, peeking through the key hole
Dropped his eye inside and he couldn't get it out again
He walked into the station, looking for the police
Looked up and down, but all he could find were some trains
People asked him the time he just nodded in time with the song
He went into the men's room, couldn't find the soap
And he couldn't find the sink, and he couldn't find the trough
So he left
Well he didn't like his life
So he opened up a hole in his mind
He climbed inside, said goodbye to his dog
And he disappeared from the face of the world
Standing in the doorway, peeking through the key hole
Dropped his eye inside and he couldn't get it out again
He walked into the station, looking for the police
Looked up and down, but all he could find were some trains
