About the song
TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT...
I rented a building which held 100 people... I hired a DJ, sound crew and security. I invited 16 local groups (52 people in total) to display their talent which would be filmed and aired by a local talk/music show. All they had to do was promote the event... I even printed flyers and gave them promotional cd's of their music to help.
You would think it would be a crowd but it was only these 16 groups walking around not supporting one another... you'd swear they were "Hollywood" already. I got the feeling that no one REALLY passed out flyers or the cds in fear that people would pay to see them perform and I might get back some of the money I spent, let alone a profit.
This has happened one to many times in this FU*K Ass City (Columbus ,Ga) The people are not appreciative.
Locally, Platinum Plus has credibility. No other label could or WOULD bring all those acts together under one roof. To bad hatred killed it!
