About the song
I had been playing for years in bars, clubs and concerts when one day I realized just how many songs were in this progression. Whether it was the key of D or otherwise. "Diddy in D" just sounded the best so I used it as the title. For the most part it's about playing your ass off over the years and hoping something will come of it. I believe most musicians can relate to it.
