They Won't Be Speaking English When I Die
I was listening to an NPR story about an initiative to turn Arizona in to an English only state, it seemed pretty ludicrous considering Arizona has quite a few Indian tribes with many different languages.

About the song
This song recently won me first place (and a 1,000 dollars) in the "Search for Talent" contest here in Durango. The song was written back in the 90's, I was listening to an NPR story about an initiative to turn Arizona in to an English only state, it seemed pretty ludicrous considering Arizona has quite a few Indian tribes with many different languages. At the time I was reading an Elisabeth Kubler-Ross book on Death and Dying. Needless to say the song practically wrote itself. For some reason the song came out in an Irish fiddle tune style.
