About the song
I wrote this song because I'm sick of how the media tells kids that they have to be perfect and f***s them up with what is shown. I'm also sick of the commercialisation of religion
Lyrics
"Church of the Media Nation"

A little child sits in front of the television

But everything shown just gives the wrong impression

Plastic sluts and ones f***ed up

They now control the masses

But people still follow blindly

With their heads shoved up their asses

From the scriptures of C.B.S. & FOX

We read in front of the idiot box

To the disciples of prime time

Staring through the eyes of an empty mind

Bringing the addicts of a new generation

To the church of the media nation

Buy their image and sell your soul

Because it's all sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll

The reality of how everything is f***ed

But the miracle product will fix you up

The Hollywood life's not as good as we're told

Just remember all that glitters ain't gold

Every shattered life

Is not a sacrifice

As long as we believe what they say

These pop culture prophets

Are only concerned with their profits

Because in this world, we're the ones who pay
