About the song
I wanted to write some new music to set the pace for how the new band would sound. The guys, Ron, Kenny, and Darin did awesome.
What your hearing is a live recording from July 8, 2007. This performance was only after being able to run through the original stuff for perhaps 4 hours at the most.
It is proof to us just how well we blend.
Lyrics
There is lonely then there is alone, then there is in between.
There is Dreaming then there are dreams, they're just dreams of the love that use to be....

Deep down in, this heart that you could break again says,
"I'm a fool for holding on"
And now I know, the hardest part of letting go is,
You ain't here but you ain't gone.

There is touching then there is a touch, intense simplicity. A void left longing not to feel.
There is haunting then there is a haunt, ghostly images,
and empty bed that proves it's real...

Deep down in, this heart that you could break again says,
"I'm a fool for holding on"
And now I know, the hardest part of letting go is,
You ain't here but you ain't gone.

I'm not lonely just alone. Have to make it on my own.
And if I'm dreaming, it's just a dream, of the love that use be.
Haunted by the love that's wrong
You ain't here but you ain't gone...You ain't gone....
Deep down in, this heart that you could break again says, "I'm a fool for holding on"
