Fool
The dilemna of the "hopeful cynic" written and sung by the percussionist. My pleasure to play electric git. and sing backups. Dark, smooth and funky.

About the song
A little bitterness on Mr. Walsh's part, but some very incisive self-examination as well. Most are not really as honest with themselves as Jim is, which makes this a refreshing listen. (Nice greasy drummin' too!)
My simple guitar theme was very enjoyable for me; something I could really sink my teeth into and feel.
Gerry's slide work is [as usual] gutsy and piercing, while at the same time, restrained and musically thoughtful. An unusual and pleasing combination.
Always a grand occasion to sing with Algie Powers on backups; that's one hell of an emotive voice, Gurl!
