Lyrics
KEEP THE CHANGE (DP)
(Written by David R. Pankoski – May 2009)

I aint paying no more taxes, just 4 U to give it away.
To all your friends in high places, we never hear them complain.
They lobby to change the laws and we never see the lite of day.

You can stick your job in your ass man, I aint workin no more.
Half my life I slave away, to pay the taxes Im sure.
While those in high places, are ridin free on my labor.

You can take your foolish laws, I dont care anyway.
Put my ass in jail, where you gotta feed me everyday.
Our freedoms are now a myth as you keep taking them away.

Bailouts for the greedy, theyre stealing from us everyday.
Sticky fingers and back-door deals are the accepted way.
They take the profits for themselves, and leave the bills for us to pay.

You gotta understand me people, Ive had it up to here.
We tell them what we want, but it falls on deaf ears.
They take care of their own, so wheres that leave you and me.

You make friends with our enemies, but you turn your back on me.
Overseas they scoff and laugh, but youre too blind to see.
They play you for a fool, and the debts are paid by me.

You promised that your change, would cure the countries ills
Your lying, blaming and rhetoric, arent given me no thrills.
Yes you can keep your change, save for me those dollar bills.

You better start walking, towards that door,
Because we don’t want you, we don’t want you more,
You can stick your change, just like I told you before.
