This song is a celebration of the Palmwine Guitar music scene of West Africa made popular from the early 20th century onwards, which sadly is dying now.This song is typical of this style and can still be found playing in few authentic local Palmwine bars in the urban ghettoes and some rural areas in West Africa and the Cameroons and parts of the Congo.
