There's no music, only noise. The brain makes sense to that space that is only ready to jump inside the silence.
I began to play from childhood. And I was bit by the CasioTone syndrome meanwhile I dreamt about DX-7. That was more than 20 years ago.
After a long break I re-start again a few years ago. A lot of efforts spent and sometimes with no good results, but I'm still trying. Why not?
In the time that my ears begin to open, I listen everything. For me was very important J.M.Jarre, Vangelis or Tangerine Dream but I have to recognize influences comes from any sound I can hear and from any music: Fussion, Classical, Heavy,.... a lot of labels!! A lot of labels that, maybe, don't mean too much, because is just music.
Actually I reduce the number of keyboards in the studio. So My daily equipment are : Korg Micro-X, Yamaha CS-2x and Cakewalk Sonar runnig in the PC. Eventually I use my other Synth gear: DX-7, JX8P, Poly800, SX240, CZ101, DS330, DR220E and RM1x
