About the song
Written after 6 medical mission trips to the capital of Haiti. The first year we were greeted by a rag-tag band of incredible musicians playing for tips on the Tarmac. The idea was to make Haiti look like a tourist destination. We found out quickly that these guys were playing music for real, to just survive! I call them the Voodoo Kings of PAP
