Not really as country as some of my other songs, but I'll call it Country anyway.

About the song
I got dumped. I should have been glad about it, but then I wouldn't have felt like writing this song. This song would need to be recorded in 17 different languages and sell over 123 million copies before I could convince myself that it's a good thing I wasn't just glad about it. Here's some advice girls: Just let them go. Don't fuss, don't ask why, don't try again. Just write your little song and move on.
Lyrics
Try A Little Love
Angie Tracy

You're gone
and baby look how you have hurt me
Did you think you could desert me
and I'd just carry on
Did you think I wouldn't care

You're wrong
Honey my heart's hurting plenty
and I don't think that I've got
any teardrops left I lost them all
the minute you walked out that door

Didn't I make you feel right
Didn't I squeeze you all night
Didn't I hear you say you liked my stuff
Didn't I give you everything
Didn't I treat you like a king
Didn't you think that that was good enough
Baby that wasn't nothing
Come back to me
Try a little love

You win
'cause I don't have the strength to fight it
For a while I tried to hide it
but I'd rather have your kisses
than my pride

Yeah I'm weak
I didn't waste a minute falling
but I don't see any need for stalling
Boy I knew it right away
You're the one but you're gone

Didn't I make you feel right
Didn't I squeeze you all night
Didn't I hear you say you liked my stuff
Didn't I give you everything
Didn't I treat you like a king
Didn't you think that that was good enough
Baby that wasn't nothing
Come back to me
Try a little love
