This jam was a cooker that hopped off the oven in the studio with Ben, my Producer and a fabulous percussionist. We were working in the Summer heat in San Anselmo, with a pot full of frozen ice set in front of a room fan in an attempt to cool things down a bit - regardless, the music just kept sizzling. Shimmer is an outpouring of the synergy between myself as the Didjeriduist and Ben and our rhythm of intuitive melding and is actually a celebration, I would say, of the desire to go into alternate realities via music and friendship.
