About the song
This is an easily accessible track and quite mundane if you think about the actual chrodal structure, but it has verve. The track was created from just flipping about different Tones from the Line 6 POD XT Live and recording what came about - then the vocals were laid in... The vocals are pointed toward the sustainability of the planet (or lack thereof) and a certain observation we are subject to EVERY day, which makes it quite apparent that the American public deeply enjoys their heads firmly lodged in their backsides. The absolute disregard for cost versus benefit is so detached and alienated from our culture that it seems obvious; ignorance will destroy the only habitat we have. If we had only one chance to make a statement, it would be this: Science has allowed more questions of our existence and place within the Cosmos to be answered than ANY other discipline or process... Why then, do we continue to blind ourselves with faulty ideologies, defunct socio-political dogmas and careless abandon for the habitat we populate? Ignorance. And yet, this track sounds happy - guess there's always a bit of optimism within our blatant complaining! Enjoy...
