Brooklyn Bridge
Played on my new Archtop Deluxe Dot Guitar, this track has a sincere and touching aesthetic with incredibly sweet touches in the chorus, yet still remains rough and unmanaged. A diamond in the rough you could say. Enjoy!

About the song
This track is a complete turn from the norm for Phrygia... It is a long distance collaborative effort between people located in New York and Arizona. The brainchild of the track is credited to Tim from New York - more on him later. The track was sent to us in a VERY rough format and we tried everything within our power to clean it up as it stood - the obvious path to take was to record heavily over the backbone track and create a nuance that did not exist in the original. Thus, Ryan Gentry and I (known as Absolute Cero) created the lyrics and overlays. Played on my new Archtop Deluxe Dot Guitar, this track has a sincere and touching aesthetic with incredibly sweet touches in the chorus, yet still remains rough and unmanaged. A diamond in the rough you could say. Enjoy!
Lyrics
some things should just be left alone
leave flesh to flesh, and bones to bones
skip your stones and watch your wake
don't rob yourself of a moment never meant to take
the present is a gift not so neatly packaged
just looking for somewhere to unload this baggage
the weight feels heavy only 'cause I'm frail
alone in the ocean waiting for the winds to hit my sails
...winds to hit my sails
some things should just be left alone
leave flesh to flesh, and bones to bones
sometimes you've just got to roll the dice
caviar dreams, but happy with beans and rice
we've always done this for the love
who will be with you when it comes down to push and shove
we were all born to fight within
it's just hard to figure where to begin
...where to begin
leave flesh to flesh, and bones to bones
skip your stones and watch your wake
don't rob yourself of a moment never meant to take
the present is a gift not so neatly packaged
just looking for somewhere to unload this baggage
the weight feels heavy only 'cause I'm frail
alone in the ocean waiting for the winds to hit my sails
...winds to hit my sails
some things should just be left alone
leave flesh to flesh, and bones to bones
sometimes you've just got to roll the dice
caviar dreams, but happy with beans and rice
we've always done this for the love
who will be with you when it comes down to push and shove
we were all born to fight within
it's just hard to figure where to begin
...where to begin
