A song about realizing... (Please try to disregard the 'static'... my cousin does not have a very good recording setup yet. I'm working on it, I'm working on it! ;) )

From time to time, my cousin Russell will record short instrumentals and put them up on his myspace. Well, just the other day he posted a bulletin letting everyone know he had uploaded a new song. I checked it out and immediately fell in love with it.

While this song is not exactly true in regards to my own life, I believe a lot of people will be able to relate to it. It came so naturally... I wrote it in about 5 minutes, recorded it, and sent it to him right before I left for work one day. I couldn't wait to send it to him, as he wasn't expecting me to write anything for it.

My only regret is that it's such a short song. But, at the same time, that's what makes it so profound.
