About the song
"There is perhaps no woman...who could look down upon a battlefield covered with slain but the thought would rise in her, 'So many mothers' sons! So many months of weariness and pain while bones and muscles were shaped within; so many hours of anguish and struggle so that breath might be!' No woman who is a woman says of a human body, 'It is nothing!'" - Olive Schreiner (South African feminist author )
I was moved by the image of my Nepalese sister. My sister's face is reflection of thousands of other sisters who are facing the grim reality of war in a poverty stricken country. Instead of holding their kids, they are forced to hold guns to kill others' sons and daughters. I just could not stop my feelings and wrote this emotional song. Please take some time to download and listen to my new song KILLIN' TERRACES. I would appreciate it. The title of this song is inspired by the documentary "Killing Terraces".
May peace prevail in my country and in the world.
