About the song
Was it only eleven months ago? The second song I wrote. It was about an event that at the time seemed to be first and foremost in our minds. And then other news came to the forefront and for a while I felt... well, this song doesn't really matter anymore. But in a year that has seen one catastrophe after another, maybe it matters after all. Put another name on it... Katrina, Rita, Wilma... call it an earthquake in Pakistan... we still have a lot of lessons to learn about reaching out to our brothers and sisters.
