About the song
Starting picking the main guitar riff one day, and soon, everything else fell into place. It reminds me a lot of jamming with friends late at night, when the good stuff comes out. You know, when you're at the point where one less beer and you'd be obnoxious, but one more beer and you'd be worthless. That's when you feel your self get into the song. The guitar part I laid down, and then my friend Joe, who along with our friend Ryan, laid down the drums. I added bass, banjo, and e-bow to finish it off. I like this one a lot, but I can't play it live unless I have a band. It just doesn't work as a solo act. I listen to a lot of Bela Fleck (and the Flecktones), and I guess it's finally starting to show.
