A lot of people have commented on my songs by telling me none of them were upbeat. So I originally started work on what I thought would be a trance song. But as I progressed, this shifted far away from my original intention, and it started to sound space-y (I can't think of another word for it). I came across the name "Ad Astra" on Wikipedia, and I found out it meant "to the stars". So because I thought this song sounded futuristic, I thought that Ad Astra would be a fitting name for it.
