About what really matter in this life... not money or material wealth.. just the people we love and can reach out to while we are here. This is the evolving version, a long way to go, still

About the song
This song is inspired by my personal belief that we are here to love God, love each other, love ourselves, not lose ourselves in the quest of obtaining "things" that only clutter our lives, and waste what precious short time we have here
Lyrics
Born Alone, Die Lone
V1
the best we can hope for
is someone to feel our pain
who will notice when we're hurtin'
pull us in out of the rain
be a candle in our dark times
be a cool wind in the heat
stand beside us, always love us
that will make this life complete

chorus
we are born alone, we die alone
it's a short walk in between
all your money, cars and diamond rings
in the end won't mean a thing
we are born alone, we die alone
so few understand
that the only wealth worth having
can't be held within your hand

V2
look around you there aare people
with regrets, misery
they have spent a lifetime chasing
dreams that will never be
all the sunlight has been wasted
in the fading day they cry
so late to make changes,
so little time before they die

chorus

bridge
we sometimes teach our children
grow up and leave your mark
will the world remember in a years
can the world ease the pain of a lonly heart, no no no
chorus, and fade
