About the song
Chris Daly had this guitar idea
Steve Langan left behind a notepad of some scribbled lyrics
I thought.. hmmm this guitar idea reminds me of Steve and so I layered some rough vocals over it using some version of what Langan had written many years ago and here you have it... We will be furthering the collab with another person on guitar and maybe, with some luck, some vocals by Laura (soon to be morgan?)-wish THAT upon this track..it could only be good.
Lyrics
I can see you in the corner of my mind
Eyes like stars, kisses like wine
The best thing in my life that I recall
You and me could've had it all

I know that we could never live these times again
so I let these memories take me back to where I've been
and I stay there with you just as long as I can
It was so good when I was your man

Never stopped believing in your smile
and if it wouldn't stay it was still worthwhile
the best thing in my life that I recall
you and me we should've had it all
