A cool little pop tune I did with Eric Thurber, one of my first internet collaborations.

About the song
Eric had this one laying around. I heard it and instantly connected with it. Thus, I wrote some lyrics, added some vocals and it became our first hit single, lol.
Lyrics
Sometimes I think sometimes I pray
It would be too easy to walk away
So I'll just pretend that everything's all right

Bite my lip and hold my tongue
And ignore all that's been done
And I'll just work on sleeping, through another night

All at once I closed my eyes
I felt something deep inside
and I knew, I was learning to fly
Left my fears back on the ground
Took a good look all around
I knew, that I was learning to fly

Another step towards the dream
Smaller parts make larger schemes
It's all I need to make the day
Moments lost and floating free
Just the way it used to be
But this time, this time I won't run away

All at once I closed my eyes
I felt something deep inside
and I knew, I was learning to fly
Left my fears back on the ground
Took a good look all around
I knew, that I was learning to fly
