About the song
The motivation for this peice came from a very unexpected source...
Lyrics
In A Forest Of Bells
In a shady magic wood
where bells grow on the lofty trees
and chimes and rings can oft be heard
on wings of summer's silken breeze,
I call your name upon the wind
and wonder will you answer me?
I came here often as a child;
the bells to hear, sweet air to breathe
and in the babbling silver stream
my feet to cool, my woes to ease.
I called your name upon the wind
and wondered would you answer me?
And now I'm old my silver hair
is ruffled like the dappled leaves,
but magic still enchants the wood
and still the bells ring in the trees;
I call your name upon the the wind
and whispering, you answer me.
