About the song
This is the first song I ever wrote (that I know of). I was delivering mail (used to be a mailman) and this one just came to me. I get a lot of ideas when I'm out walking. Had fun doing the bass voice (listen for "daaah" in the ending).
Lyrics
I LOVE MY CAR

I love my car.
I always will.
Though she is dead now
I love her still.

After the collision
They towed her away.
Now I visit the junkyard
Every single day.

My mama told me,
“Son, don’t drive too fast.
And when the cops chase you,
Lay off the gas.”

But I didn’t listen.
And here I am today.
My car’s in the junkyard
Rusting away.
I – I love my car.
I love my car.

Goodbye four speed transmission,
Little headlight wiper blades.
I’m on public transportation.
No more back seat for my dates.

I love my car.
I always will.
Though she is dead now
I love her still.

But I just didn’t listen.
And here I am today.
My car’s in the junkyard
Rusting away.

I - I love my car.
I love my car.

Ooh ooh ooh, etc.
