Many people seem to have the idea that the internet is a place where it is OK to lie, just because it is easy to get away with it. People lie about how they look, how old they are, where they live, much money they have and even what gender they are. Its dangerous to assume that you know anything for sure about a person you have met on the web. You never know if your "web mate" is the friend you think they are, or somebody totally different. You could even end up with a "cyber lover" who is you priest, some pervert, your teacher, a person of a gender you don't want, or even one of your parents or your little brother. How many showers (and how much therapy) would you need to cope with a thing like that?
