About the song
I've always said I feel more like the secretary transcribing the letter than the boss dictating it. I was just playing around on the piano one day and came up with this chord progression that I liked. The song just flowed from that initial idea and I completed it in about 1/2 hour.
Lyrics
From sunrise to sunset,
and every moment in between.
My Savior is with me, I know that He's real. It's a wonderful feeling I feel.
From evening 'till morning,
and twenty-four hours a day;
I rest in the care of my Savior and King,
of His love and his mercy I'll sing.

And I will be praising the Lord.
Every day of my life I'll sing.
My praises to Him,
my Savior, my God, and my King.
And I will be praising His Name.
It doesn't matter what tomorrow will bring.
Of His love and His mercy,
His joy and His kindness I'll sing, I'll sing.

Each morning I wake up.
And thank the Lord that I am alive.
It's a brand new beginning,
a life that's made clean,
if you love Him you know what I mean.
Forever and ever,
my Lord has promised He will be there.
Through good and through bad
He will show me the way,
and take care of my needs, day by day.
