Nick wrote these lyrics as part of an assignment for the Sunday Songwriters Group at Guitar Noise (www.guitarnoise.com). In passing he commented that he didn't think he'd ever record or play it so I wrote some music for it as my gift to him. Since then, this songs has been performed on many occasions by both of us separately as well as together on those happy chances that we manage to get together. This is my "polished" version of it. There is also a very cool version done with my basic guitar and vocals tracks and additional instrumentation by Greg Nease.
