About the song
I wrote the song when I injured my hand on my classic car. It was originally open tuned in the key of G due to the fact I could only barre. This version is a new recording in standard tuning.

(C)2004 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED BY KISSY MUSIC

V1.I'm a chainsmokin' Louisiana Man
And I'm a son of a gun when I'm drunk
Lost lonely on a midnight stint
Working hard just to make a flint

V2.I'm a chainsmokin' Louisiana man
My Big Mac takes me from town to town
No pillow just a seat to get my head down
Hey take it easy just give it a break

Chorus
I don't know what to do without my Sandy Lou
I don't know what to do when I'm so blue
I don't know what to do to stay straight
and true
'Cause I'm a chainsmokin' Louisiana man

Repeat V1.

V3. I'm a chainsmokin' Louisiana man
Can't settle down just keep on rollin'
Love war means nothing I keep strollin'
Working hard hey Buddy no time for strollin'

Repeat Chorus

Repeat V1., V2. & Chorus

Repeat V1., V3. & Chorus

Repeat "Louisiana man" x 4
