Mostly from a Bushspeech to a devoted Republican audience. The people dig it when he f***s up during public speaking, because most everyone has trouble speaking in public. Of course, most speakers would get over it after 30 years. And most people aren't the president of the United States. I just read about "dry brain syndrome". But who cares? His suspension of disbelief is easily mistaken for tenacity by his devotees. And his refusal to rise above rhetoric might allow fans to imagine unlimited goals while never experiencing failure.
