About the song
Imagine what might really happen in the cut-throat world of home flooring products sales. It's a story about a make-believe princess and her evil stepsister and their shared desire for the same flooring contractor. Inspiration from the St. Louis TV icons, and has nothing to do with them personally or the characters they portray. Any similarity to persons living or dead is unbelievably coincidental. That's me on backward clarinet and Rod on explodo-pop. Jeff on guitar. Keith on drums. Recorded in that nasty little attic in Pocahontas, IL, when Gretchen was still singing heavy metal at Granny's Rocker and Grandpa's Ghost was still incarnate.
