About the song
A song which started out trying to sound like Arpeggi by Radiohead, hence the arpeggiated main piano phrase and counterpoint that can be heard towards the end of the song. It saw many revisions and transformed from this intense buildup/climax guitar and rhodes arrangement (similar to Arpeggi), into a tender, calm piano piece with atmospheric frippertronics effects.

Frippertronics were achieved by using the free VST Elotronix XL. They form the swirling guitar loop near the end.

Oh, and this one's my favourite song I've written. Just putting that out there.
Lyrics
If I walked through the rain
To get home again
Would you be there
By my side
To watch my every move?

You take all the pain
And undo it all
So you sleep on the floor
And I'll guard the door
Every night
All night
