About the song
I love the contrast between the "cheeky" verses and the chorus' urgency to know our "necessary" God. You just gotta love that whole tension between opposites.

You are money in the bank
You are pulling in a prank
You are Henry in a Hank
You are sugar in a cake
You are a body at a wake
You are silicon in fake
You are, You are
You are, You are necessary
You are quiet in a hush
You are velvet in a crush
And the luxury in lush
You are beautiful in art
You are the ending and the start
To the beating of my heart
You are, You are
You are, You are necessary
I don’t want my weary eyes
My own lips my own demise
Take away my breath, my life
Only leaving You.
