Music has always been a major part of my life. I started playing guitar at 13 and never looked back. I spent years listening to many different styles of music and absorbing as much as I could. Also I became acquainted with some really great guitarists who influenced me a lot. I've always loved the blues and what I suppose is now called "classic rock" but I'm not closed minded to any style of music as long it's good. I have played in many different bands over the years and I've really enjoyed the ride. Lately I'm focusing a lot on recording though I do still play live. So far everything coming out is instrumental but who knows what may happen next? I do feel like I've got something to say with my music and if somebody somewhere gets something out of it then that definitely makes it worthwhile for me.
Yes. I love to play live.
Two biggies would have to be Duane Allman and Eric Clapton. I loved southern rock but also harder stuff like Ritchie Blackmore, Robin Trower, Hendrix. Loved blues, old blues, blues rock, Johnny Winter, SRV. Mellow stuff, Pure Prarie League, Poco, Eagles, The Band, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Leo Kottke. Jazz players, Benson, Coryell, McLaughlin, Metheny. I don't know, I'm a nut.
I played all guitar and bass parts on these songs. My gear includes: '93 Fender Strat Plus, '95 Fender Lone Star Strat, '69 Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe, '97 Martin D1 acoustic, Regal resonator guitar, Jay Turser bass, Marshall DSL 401 combo amp, Music Man 65 2-12 combo amp, Line 6 POD XT processor, Digitech RP-10 processor
