The beginning and rhythm guitar part is something I wrote when I first started playing. I used play the intro with tap harmonics, but I can't seem to do it anymore.

I've always wanted someone to help me finish it with other instruments, lyrics and vocals, but that hasn't happened so I did the drums and bass myself. Since I'm smart enough to know I can't sing, I just threw a lead guitar part in (biiiig surprise). If someone wants to add vocals, let me know and we'll re-work the tune.

This was the first time I used my Digitech Whammy Pedal II on a recording (lead guitar part). I'm not very good with it yet. Guess that's why I don't use it much, lol! I think the pedal is actually sucking some of the tone out of my guitar... I'm not sure because my #1 recording guitar is having input jack and pick-up switch problems :(

For those of you who don't know, the whammy pedal is a guitar effect pedal that makes the guitar pitch go up and down without having to move the fretting hand. When you hear the lead guitar at various points, it may sound like I'm sliding my hand up/down the fretboard or doing some serious whammy bar push-ups. What's actually going on is I'm either holding a note, or still playing in the same position, and making the pedal pitch-shift the signal. It doesn't affect the sustain and it can also harmonize. The settings I used were pitch-shift up 1 oct, down 2 oct (ending only), and harmonized 5th.

I'd like to re-do this, and my other tunes one day. But first I want my playing/writing skills to improve.
