this is a song i wrote one afternoon in honour of the late st thomas (thomas hansen) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Hansen_(musician) i had been discussing with geir the possibility of covering one of his songs, when for the 1st time in like what seems ages i picked up my guitar, set the mbr metronome click track to 120bpm and recorded two simple guitar tracks then sang. it was very much a work in progress and i was hoping some kind souls could add to the song, maybe drums, maybe bass, maybe guitar, maybe squeeze-box in fact absolutely anythingsince then a lots been done to it, but my original post wasn't in tune it was a little sharp so i passed the baton to geir ( thomas Hansen is norwegian so it was nice to get one of his fellow countrymen onboard). geir completely redid all the guitar and ukelele parts. in fact the song was done in what can only be described as a higglety pigglety way.

so with no drum track geir rescored it i then added the lead vox, then geir added ukelele and backing vox in norwegian.

it then went to mike who added bass and drums like i said arse from elbow. i think its appropriate to quote mike here "You guys, the speed is all over the place. Faster, slower, james doing the flexible timing style singing. I was chasing you all over the place.....
