From Vaughn: I had just written the lyrics after a long sleepless night. It's mostly statement based song involving my past as it relates to the Winter season. Another part of it came from Steve talking about a winter sunset he witnessed. I can't remember the name of the song was in it's instrumental form. I remember Scott writing the rhythm part, but deciding that he would play it and give Mitch the lead. I wasn't in the band long when we wrote this one, but I was impressed to hear Mitch doing a beautiful, spacey lead to this number. Originally I played an old Yamaha keyboard (not sure the model) with wah and distortion, but I decided to use my KORG for the "studio" recording.
