About the song
After meeting internationally known fashion designer and Griot Winston Jack of Color Heritage Apparel, I wanted to create a song that would go with his international movement!

What would life be like, if everybody looked the same?
Wore the same uniforms?
Had the same names?
And played the same games?
If everybody was one hue?
Talked the same talk and wasn’t saying nothing new?
If everybody had the same dream to pursue?
Life would just be grey and everyday would be blue
But look at you
A colorful planet with its own course to pursue
Sharing your gifts like only you can do
We must all give back to life before re-emerging with the eternal
Original source who, wanted us to experience
From the womb of the universe
Colors!
Your color is your heritage
Your color is your heritage
Your color is your heritage
Rejoice in your heritage
It’s yours!
You are the descendants of the unmoved mover
The dominant force
The supreme being
The all eye seeing
And now just look at you
Looking all fresh and new
Intellectual and beautiful
On your cosmic journey through
The universe
You beamed down to the planet earth
In your birthday suit
Color prejudice you wasn’t conceiving
You were innocent like your ancestral
Garden of Eden
We won’t let them divide us. To the fullest, this life we’ll live
As we stay positive and rep our heritage
Your color is your heritage
Your color is your heritage
Your color is your heritage
